A. Some products are better suited to a particular style or roof pitch than others. We have included some measurements and information regarding the angles that the products will work with. We are quite happy to assist if there are any doubts, most customers contact us or sometimes also send pictures front on of the roof so that we can help advise on the best fitting

Q. How are finials installed?

A. Finials are installed in exactly the same way as ridge tiles (Fitted in place using mortar). A selection of the finials also feature a metal strap that allows mechanical fixing with screws\nails in addition to the mortar fixing

Q. Will the finials blow off of the roof?

A. It is very unlikely provided the finials are fitted and installed securely with mortar and they are of the correct angle\fitting for the roof. Some of the finials feature a metal strap too for mechanical fitting in addition to mortar

What are the products made of?

A. The products are concrete based and made in accordance to British standards BS EN 490:2004 and BS EN 491:2004 specifications. They have been tested for freeze\thaw resistance in a laboratory simulating real world weather conditions and we hold a relevant current certificate. The standard appearance looks very similar to clay and our products tend to be more cost effective than buying clay finials

Q. Can the dragons or finials sit on top of an existing ridge tile?

A. In theory they could do provided they are securely fitted but we would recommend removing the existing ridge tile to give a neater finish
