Angel hip end finial

Description The angel roof finial is a lovely decorative piece which is based on a hip end ridge tile. The angel sculpture features the angel praying and has the wing and clothing detail beautifully sculptured in the piece. It is based on a hip end ridge tile and the ridge tile is angled at 45 degrees and the front section is sealed and makes for a decorative addition to a hip end roof

Installing the angel: The angel is prefect for installation on a hip end roof. If you need a version that can go on a gable end or anywhere else on the roof along the ridge line please see our listing for the gable end version of this angel. If there are existing ridge tiles on the roof a ridge tile can be removed and the finial can be fitted in place with mortar to bed them in. Some finials also include a metal strap on the underside of the finial out of view as well particularly if they are heavy. The metal strap allows the finial to be fixed to the roof structure with either a nail or screw and then the mortar bed then hides the metal strap and further strengthens the install
