The Eredon dragon roof finial is a fully sculpted all in one decorative piece for hip end roofs. The angle is 45 degree also known as a 90 degree roof angle, making it suitable for a wide range of hip end roof designs. Created to add bold character and visual impact, this dragon forms a striking focal point when viewed from ground level.

The dragon is presented in a proud upright stance, with an open mouth and a strong, watchful expression. The body features deeply sculpted scales and well defined muscle detail, giving the finial a true three dimensional presence against the skyline. The wings curve naturally from the body, adding elegance and movement, while the head is shaped with pronounced facial ridges, a long sculpted snout, and sharp contours that reinforce its powerful and protective appearance. A naturally flowing tail curls around the base, bringing balance and cohesion to the overall design.

Performance & Quality: All products are certified and tested to BS EN 490:2004 & BS EN 491:2004. The product is freeze\thaw resistant and the default finish is similar to the appearance of clay products
Installing the dragon: The dragon is prefect for installation on a hip end roof. If you need a version that can go on a gable end or anywhere else on the roof along the ridge line please see our listing for the gable end version of this dragon. If there are existing ridge tiles on the roof a ridge tile can be removed and the finial can be fitted in place with mortar to bed them in
Mechanical Fixing (Optional): Finials also include a flexible metal strap on the underside of the ridge tile section out of view which allows optional mechanical fixing so the finial can be fixed to the roof structure with either a nail or screw and then the mortar bed then hides the metal strap and further strengthens the install. The metal strap is strong, flexible and can be uncoiled and cut to size
