Description This is the "King" roof dragon. The nickname came about because of its popularity and its beautiful sculptural qualities and design This roof dragon is a quality replica of a classic Victorian design. The wings are sculptured thicker to be more robust and it is a stunning and beautiful design and is by far one of the best selling pieces. We have got a lot of customer photos showing the piece installed on the roof. It does look very good and the shape and silhouette of it is very eye catching and distinctive

Sitting on a 42.5° angled ridge tile with the dragons head positioned low down and the wings help up high it is a great choice for 90° pitch roofs and this dragon is particularly popular for restoration work and grand buildings

Performance & Quality: All products are certified and tested to BS EN 490:2004 & BS EN 491:2004. The product is freeze\thaw resistant and the default finish is similar to the appearance of clay products
Installing the dragon: The dragon can be installed anywhere on the roof along the ridge line but typically they are installed on the end of a gable or hip end. If there are existing ridge tiles on the roof a ridge tile can be removed and the finial can be fitted in place with mortar to bed them in. Some finials also include a metal strap on the underside of the finial out of view as well particularly if they are heavy. The metal strap allows the finial to be fixed to the roof structure with either a nail or screw and then the mortar bed then hides the metal strap and further strengthens the install
